My name is Chris and just like you I love the magic of the movies.I live in California just a stones throw away from Hollywood. While walking down Sunset or Hollywood Blvd I enjoy retracing the footsteps of history and seeing the iconic studios and theaters. As a movie buff and filmmaker I can't help getting a smile on my face and feeling inspired from being in the entertainment and movie capital of the world. I grew up around the industry having parents who worked in film and television. My father was a writer, director and an Emmy award winning videographer. My mother produced, acted and worked various positions at such places as MTM and Lindsey Studios. I can't think of a better environment for an aspiring filmmaker to grow up in.
Filmmaking As An Artform not just entertainment occurred to me at the age of four. Close Encounters of the Third Kind was playing everyday on cable.
I remember watching it over and over again. I loved the story, the characters and the music. However, something I never noticed before in any other movie stood out to me. The look of the film was very distinct. The lighting, the composition and the camera movement all spoke to me. That was my first recognition of cinematography and my first grasp of the concept that film can be art and can be something poetic as well. It was because of Vilmos Zsigmond the director of photography for Close Encounters that I really wanted to work in film. His lighting techniques and composition touched to me in a way like no other film craftsman has. He became my hero of the silver screen and inspired me to pursue a film career. In recent years I was able to meet and speak with him on several occasions. A real dream come true. My parents working in the film and television industry was very educational and exciting. As the years passed and I entered high school I solidified my goal of wanting to be a cinematographer. My parents allowed me to work on their various projects as a production assistant and my father while working for a local TV station had me on the crew of the live broadcast covering the Antelope Valley Fair. I read film production books, studied my favorite directors and studios, researched the history of cinema and watched all manner of films. I was raised on classic movies and my parents saw to me being cultured and educated.
Following The Dream The Clarita Awards was a video contest for junior high and high school students. Film/Video workshops were held at a local movie studio and it culminated into an awards ceremony at Magic Mountain.
For two consecutive years my friends and I entered a videos. Both years we won. The first year was for best screenplay and the second year for best animation and FX. Since high school I have worked on various film and tv productions and taught a video production class at my daughters elementary school. It has been a very exciting time and my daughter is apparently going to be the third generation filmmaker in our family. From The Silver Screen To The InternetMy father started this website to share his appreciation and knowledge of film and television. He is now working on new online projects and is teaching classes on how to have a successful business on the internet. With him branching off in new directions I have been given the pleasure of running this website and continuing to share the love and appreciation for that magical thing we call the movies. How watch free movies online now.com came to be... Here my father explains the genesis of this great website and how SBI made it into a reality. I decided to turn my love for movies and my background in television and motion picture production into a website. My goal was simple - create a friendly, easy to use website where visitors could watch movies, favorite TV episodes, videos and documentaries.
Great idea My wife encouraged me by saying: "Now you'll have a place to put all the movie trivia you know to good use."
Thanks To SBI, I Already Knew HowIn my case, I already knew how to build a friendly, easy to use website - because I already had a successful website online. Some years ago I decided to put together a website that gave parents ideas and information to help them put together a birthday party their child would happily remember for years to come. But I didn't know anything about the Internet - and the only thing I had been using my computer for was writing screenplays. So I surfed all over the Internet looking for information about building a website and hosting and everything else that goes along with being online. It was exhausting and frustrating. I ended up going with what seemed like a good host - but after many long, hard hours put into building a "half way decent website", I discovered that "half way decent" wasn't nearly enough to make it a successful website.
It Changed My LifeOne frustrating day when I was still looking for a new website host, I found a company called Site Build It. Now if you're anything like me, you like to check things out. So when I first read about Site Build It (SBI) I decided to do some research and dig up some dirt, read a few "negative reviews", and see if SBI really had a good reputation. Guess what?Try as I might, I couldn't find any dirt, no negative reviews - but I did discover that SBI had (has) a really great reputation. Especially the guy who put the company together, a fellow by the name of Ken Evoy. My research told me that Ken was a retired surgeon who ventured into the Internet by putting together a really good - and I mean really good, Website building, hosting and promotion company. Well, I liked what I read, including all the testimonials, and the proof (yes I mean proof) that SBI works. OK - maybe I'll give it a try - or not. I decided to wait a whileYou know, think it over for a few days, see some movies, take it easy, sleep on it, talk it over with my wife. That night I could not sleep! I tossed, I turned, my mind was racing with ideas about how I might just be able to put together a successful website with SBI. The next day I went online, re-read the information about Site Build It and then - I decided to wait a while longer. But then it happened I saw The Guarantee "Try it Simply follow the Video Action Guide
Register your domain Build your site Watch traffic build from Google, Yahoo, etc. Enjoy your growing profits If you decide (at any time) it's not for you, simply tell us. It does not matter why. We'll refund you right away" No excuse now - I had an iron-clad, guaranteed way out.
I signed up - and it was the smartest thing I've ever done (except for marrying my wife). Years later my first SBI website Fun Kid Birthday Parties.com is still successful and making money everyday.
So when I decided to put together my online movie theater, it was an easy decision - build Watch Free Movies Online Now.com using SBI! There are two important things you should know about this website. I have lots of fun putting this site togetherI make money with this site every dayAnd - this fun website gives me the ability to share my love and appreciation for movies and episodic television with you. Watch Free Movies Online Now is all about watching movies, TV episodes, documentaries and more - online and for free.
Thanks to Site Build It, Watch Free Movies Online Now is a professional, successful website. Others Just Like YouYes my website is successful, but you know what?
