If you just read my "About Me" page How I Ended Up In Hollywood, this is the most important part of the story.

My passion is movies, but I didn't stop with just watching movies and television - I decided to work in the entertainment industry.

After getting my start in local television in Anchorage, Alaska (yes, I said Alaska), my wife and I followed our dream and moved to Southern California where I went to work at GMT Studios in Culver City, just a few miles from Sony Pictures Studio, the former home of mega studio MGM.

Then one day I got an idea

What if I put together a website where everyone could watch movies online - an online movie theater? I thought about it a while, did some research online and decided to go for it.

Because, in the words of hockey great Wayne Gretzky,"100% of the shots you don't take, don't go in."

And while listening to the radio, I recently heard Michael Josephson of Character Counts offer this gem, "an opportunity not taken is like an unlit candle."

In other words - I had an idea, and I was going to lit the candle by turning my idea into a reality.
